Kuala Lumpur, February 13th, 2019- The JOM BREAKFAST Team (non-profit organisation) today announced that it has extended its morning soup kitchen campaign to Penang.

“We believe hope begins with a breakfast, and we are delighted to partnership with Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) reaching 200 children twice a month on Wednesday”, said it’s Chief Executive Officer, (CEO) Charles Mohan.

The sessions in Penang are scheduled to take place from 6.00am until 8.30am.

JOM BREAKFAST will be served at Penang Peace Learning Centre, St. Nicholas Home and Pertubuhan Pemulihan Dalam Komuniti Timur Laut simultaneously.

Now the JOM BREAKFAST campaign is 4 years old, IOJ’s will continue to emphasis on volunteerism as an operating model and a cultural value and to focus on underprivileged children.

The first session of the JOM BREAKFAST 2019 campaign took place this morning as 26 students volunteers from International Institute of Management and Technology College (IIMAT) prepared the free food and drinks that will be handed out to the homeless children as early as 6am.

Volunteers arrived as early as 6.00am before heading out to Sekolah Bimbingan Jalinan Kasih, Karen Group Refugees Center, Yayasan Chow Kit’s Pusat Aktiviti Kanak-kanak (PAKK) and KL Krash Pad, and Pusat Transit Gelandangan.
